Privacy Policy

Khidr is a guided prayer companion operated by Kaevo Labs LLC, a single-member limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA (“Khidr”, “we”, “us”). For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR, Kaevo Labs LLC is the data controller.

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app. We collect:

• Your email address: to create and secure your account and to contact you about the service.
• Prayer completion records: the prayers and sessions you complete, so the app can reflect your progress.
• Qur'an and Khatm reading position: where you last left off, so you can continue where you stopped.
• Taraweeh progress: your Ramadan juz progress, so it carries across sessions.

We do not run advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your data. Ours are:

• Performance of a contract: we use your email and in-app records to provide the app you signed up to use.
• Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and maintain and improve how the app works, in a way that does not override your rights.
• Legal obligation: where we or our payment provider must retain limited records to meet tax and accounting duties.

Your account and in-app data are stored with a reputable third-party cloud hosting provider, in a secure managed database located in the Asia-Pacific region. Access is protected by row-level security scoped per user, so your data is only accessible to your own authenticated account.

If you access Khidr from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your data is transferred to and stored outside those regions. Where such an international transfer takes place, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses offered by our infrastructure providers.

Khidr Premium is sold by Kaevo Labs LLC. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and handled under their own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card details, only the information needed to activate and manage your subscription.

We never sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with the service providers that make Khidr work, our cloud hosting provider (database and authentication) and Stripe (payments), and only to the extent needed to provide the service, or where we are legally required to disclose it.

We keep your account and in-app data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to erase your data, we delete it from our systems, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, transaction records held by our payment provider for tax purposes).

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase your data (“the right to be forgotten”).
• Port your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
• Complain to your data protection authority, the ICO in the UK, or your national supervisory authority in the EU.

To access, export, or delete your data, email support@mykhidr.com from the address associated with your account. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (within one month under the GDPR and UK GDPR). There is no charge for a reasonable request.

Khidr is a family-friendly app suitable for all ages, and it contains no adult content. Children are welcome to use it, for example, to learn how to pray. Where a child uses Khidr, we recommend a parent or guardian sets up and manages the account, and we collect only the same minimal data described above. If a parent or guardian would like us to review or delete a child's data, please contact us and we will help.

We may update this policy as the app develops. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
